The JBL Tune 130NC earbuds bring true wireless freedom with active noise cancellation to an affordable price point, making them an easy pick for anyone who wants to silence a noisy commute without spending premium money. Each earbud houses a 6mm dynamic driver tuned with JBL's signature Pure Bass sound, delivering punchy low end and clear mids that hold up well across podcasts, calls and music genres. The compact, lightweight shape sits securely in the ear and comes with multiple silicone tip sizes for a customized fit. Beyond sound, the Tune 130NC focuses on everyday practicality. Active Noise Cancelling reduces ambient rumble on buses, trains and open offices, while an Ambient Aware mode lets you pipe in outside sound without removing the buds, useful for quick conversations or crossing a street safely. Touch controls on each earbud handle playback, calls and voice assistant access, and the earbuds pair quickly thanks to reliable Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with a stable range for typical phone-in-pocket use. Battery life is a strong selling point: the earbuds themselves run for several hours, and the compact charging case adds multiple extra charges, pushing total playtime well past a full day of mixed use. A quick top-up in the case delivers a couple of hours of playback in just minutes, and IPX4 splash resistance means light rain or sweat during a workout won't cause concern. Packaged with a USB-C charging cable, the JBL Tune 130NC is built as a no-fuss, grab-and-go earbud for daily life.
Customer reviews
I was surprised how well the noise cancelling works on my train rides. Bass is punchy and the case battery lasts me almost a whole week of use.
Comfortable fit and easy pairing with my phone. Only downside is the touch controls sometimes trigger by accident when adjusting the fit.
Bass heavy but that's expected from JBL. ANC isn't studio grade but it's more than enough for office noise and flights.
I don't have to charge these every night thanks to the case. Ambient mode is handy when I need to hear announcements at the station.
